iPad: iThink iWill Get the iPad!

January 28, 2010 1 comment

If you have not seen the iPad yet you should. It is apples newest product. It is basically a 10″ iPod touch. The general idea is pretty good. It is due to come out in 18th of February but don’t get your hopes up because this may change. This has the apple iPod operating system so you can download a lot of different apps for it. It can go on for ten hours watching a/some HD movie/s. It can go on sleep mode for a month. It has a capacity of 16GB, 32GB ir even 64GB. It has the same controls as the iPod but it also has a mute button above the volume buttons. It does have the accelerometer which will be useful in using the apps. It comes with its own version of iLife so you get Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

It also has its own acsesssories such as the keyboard and a nice leather case that you can by for it.

140,000 apps at your fingertips. From day one.

iPad will run almost 140,000 apps from the App Store. So you can use all those incredibly fun and useful apps — including everything from games to productivity apps — right out of the box.

I have tried to get as many pictures from the apple website as possible. If you are interrested and want more details click here! It is only avalible in america at the moment but the price converted it:

499.00 USD

=

309.321 GBP

Giveaway of the Day Free software daily

January 5, 2010 Leave a comment

This is a very good site that I have come across. It is where you can get a free piece of software that you would normally have to pay for daily! I have used this for a while and thought that I could share it with you.

There are loads of different applications on giveaway of the day. It is very varied, last week I got a flash object creator and today it is Angel’s Vox, software that lets you organise audiobooks into a library. You can also speed up the playback to make it quicker or you can make it slower if it is too fast.

It refreshes at 08.00 AM sharp for people in the UK, about 4 AM for America.

They are on twitter and facebook if you want to add them as friends or follow them. They also have three different types of tickers which you can put on your website to advertise them. There site is powered by wordpress.org if you wanted to know for some strange reason.
